Bummer Alert! Tom Araya needs back surgery! Like really needs it. This means that the sickest tour of the new decade, the American Carnage tour and a bunch of international dates have been canceled. But, the booking agents are trying to somehow work a rescheduled version of the tour sometime later this year. There is no other way about it: this totally sucks. But obviously, the most important thing is that Tom finally gets his back taken care and gets in better shape. Here is the full press release:...Link
Economy loses 85K jobs in Dec.....
The nation shed 85,000 jobs in December, worse than expected, according to a government report released Friday that suggests the economic recovery still is too weak to lead employers to add to their payrolls...Link
‘We had no domestic attacks under Bush’...
The former New York City mayor who has sometimes been mocked for using "a noun, a verb and 9/11" in stump speeches appears to have forgotten -- or has mentally reclassified -- the worst terrorist attack on American soil. "We had no domestic attacks under Bush," Rudy Giuliani told ABC's George Stephanopoulos Friday. Even if Giuliani doesn't consider the attacks on 9/11 a "domestic" attack then surely he forgot about the anthrax attacks of 2001...Link

President Barack Obama has had some trouble keeping campaign promises. The Daily Show's Samantha Bee explained the problem Thursday. "He made promises he could be held accountable for," said Bee. As a candidate, Obama promised that health care reform negotiations would be televised on C-SPAN. The Daily Show found at least 6 instances of Obama claiming the debate would be televised...Link
