Gaza film shows white phosphorus...............
The Guardian has obtained vivid footage of the effect of white phosphorus allegedly used by Israel during a bomb attack on Gaza last week.The film was made by Fida Qishta, a camerawoman working for the International Solidarity Movement, a non-governmental organisation operating in Gaza. It was shot on Wednesday 14 January in Khoza'a, east of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip...Link
WB, Fox make deal for 'Watchmen'.........
Warner Bros. and Fox have settled their very public battle over "Watchmen." A deal has been hammered out that that gives WB some face-saving points, but which gives Fox the equivalent of a movie star’s gross participation.Warner Bros. gets the right to open its superhero pic on March 6 as planned, and Fox's logo will not be on the film, sources said...Link
Arab-Israel peace plan not on table forever.....
KUWAIT CITY – A day after fighting stopped in the Gaza Strip, Saudi Arabia's king warned Israel on Monday that an Arab peace initiative won't remain on the table forever.Arab countries have split in two camps over the crisis — one supporting Hamas' hard-liners, the other hoping to lure the Palestinian militant group toward more moderation.Link
