Obama Tilts to CIA on Memos.............

WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration is leaning toward keeping secret some graphic details of tactics allowed in Central Intelligence Agency interrogations, despite a push by some top officials to make the information public, according to people familiar with the discussions. These people cautioned that President Barack Obama is still reviewing internal arguments over the release of Justice Department memorandums related to CIA interrogations, and how much information will be made public is in flux....Link

If I had known, I would've resigned..............

Richard Armitage, who was second in command at the State Department during former President George W. Bush's first term, believes waterboarding is torture and says he would have resigned had he known the CIA was torturing suspects. "I hope, had I known about it at the time I was serving, I would've had the courage to resign," Armitage says in an Al Jazeera English interview to be aired tomorrow. The statement makes him one of the highest ranking former Bush administration officials to label the former president's policy torture....Link
